How long does the entire project take?
You will be given a schedule of works detailing the timing of your Log Outdoor World installation. Projects up to 20m² take approx. weeks on site. Site preparation will be carried out the week prior to the build. Our teams are one site for delivery of the log and start the build immediately. Our skilled and friendly tradesmen work to the highest standards with minimal disruption to you.

What is the lifetime of the unit?
We provide a 10 year structural guarantee with our Log units. Log units are extremely durable, and provided they are maintained externally, will last over 100 years.

How warm are the units
As Log retains heat, your biggest saving with a unit will be the heating of same. The thermal mass of a log wall is as energy efficient as a well insulated frame wall. We us various types of insulation, dependant on the finished product, and these are all details in our specifications.

What about insurance
Our customers have not experienced any difficulties obtaining insurance and have recommended both FBD Insurance Group and Lloyds broker O'Brien Finlay.

What about fire?
Log walls and laminated beams burn at a certain speed without loosing their strength which gives occupants more time to escape. Most conventional houses include highly inflammable and toxic plastics. For fire certificate purposes, we can finish office/créches internally using a plasterboard finish and/or use a clear fire resistant paint.

Are the windows and doors guaranteed?
Our windows and door are high quality oven cured coating with double glazed safety glass, all with three point locking system for strength, warmth and durability. They are low-emission and come with a 5 year guarantee.
